The Impact We Are Making
We're keeping track. Here are some quick analytics as well as downloadable documentation featuring the impact of our services.
We have listened and heard the need for employees fromour partners. And now we are taking action. You need them; we got them. Andthey need you, too. This is where the intersection of community, business, andeducation come together.
We are so excited to present an incredible opportunity tonot only our students, but students district-wide. However, we are not onlyproviding it to students district-wide, but also to our community at large- anyperson seeking employment or job pursuit opportunities who is associated withInnovation Central or GRPS- is welcome to attend. Attached is a Save the Datenotification for our 2nd Annual "Spring Into Jobs" Job Pursuit FamilyNight.
This is an opportunity for our community to offer jobs tothose who are unemployed, underemployed or simply need a change to somethingthey enjoy more. We hope that you will take the opportunity to be involved, have a table at the event, bring some applications and hopefully the people youneed to hire there, that night, on the spot. If not, the objective is to atleast start the process so that it can be expedited in due haste.
But this is not only an event for jobs and businesses- wealso hope that some of our summer opportunity partners are excited to showcasetheir programs and get students registered for these camps and experiences.Bring the applications even if your program is not targeted to high schoolstudents, there will certainly be students of all ages, and we will bemarketing it as such, so you may be able to attract participants that night.
We listened to the critique from last year's inauguralevent, and inasmuch we are hosting the event two months earlier, inviting alarger group of table hosts, and opening up the event to a broader audience-the entire GRPS community. Please join us, be a part of it and help the folksin our community "bounce" into careers.
