Strong Schools, Strong Communities

A district of approximately 4,300 students, Wyoming Public Schools values character, continuous improvement, collaboration and diversity. We strive to be the first choice for education and the pride of the community we serve.

District Mission

Wyoming Public Schools will empower all students to discover and achieve their potential in an inclusive, inspiring, and innovative culture of learning

Career Learning

We offer career and technical coursework through the Kent Career Tech Center. We also operate a local CTE program with courses including business, accounting, marketing, web design and video production. We offer career coaching to students to help them understand the limitless possibilities and paths available to them after graduation. We also have after school opportunities ranging from academic support to gifted and talented programming and many sports and clubs.

Academics and Beyond

Strong academics are the basis for all of K-12 learning beginning with literacy, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition to these areas, we engage students with a wide range of courses including a middle college program that allows students to leave high school with an associate's degree for free. We also have after school opportunities ranging from academic support to gifted and talented programming and many sports and clubs.

Support for Students

We work hard to support students so they succeed, including hiring the best staff to assist them. In addition, we staff professionals with expertise in social work, counseling and dispute resolution. We focus not only on academics, but a student's overall well-being.

Early Childhood

Early childhood is a crucial time in children's lives - when they engage in the world around them and learn all the basics they'll use in school and beyond. Our Great Start Readiness Preschool programs help children prepare for school success.
