How Does Kent ATYP Coordinate with the Student's Sending School?

How does ATYP coordinate with my sending school?

ATYP suggests to all sending school liaisons that each student is scheduled to a math or language arts class daily for attendence purposes.  During that time the student works independently on ATYP assignments and projects.  The best schedule is one that has the math or language study time at the same time of the day as the ATYP class on Wednesdays.  That helps diminish time away from other courserwork.  If the student does miss sections of other courses, it is up to that student to keep the communication lines open with the instructors of those courses.  Each student provides the ATYP office with the name of a liaison from their sending school so that if problems should occur, dialogue and problems solving communications can easily be facilitated.
