Health Career Expo
Students and their families are invited to learn more about careers in the healthcare industry at a Health Careers Expo on Wednesday, March 5.
Attendees will be able to network directly with local healthcare employees and participate in hands-on activities. They'll hear about the hiring process from recruiters and learn about entry-level jobs, tuition assistance and avoiding college debt. They'll also get an "inside scoop" on possible career paths and what the daily work of health care professionals is like.
The event is designed for students from 7th through 12th grade and is open-house style from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Kent Career Tech Center, 1655 East Beltline Ave. NE. Registration is not required but is encouraged at this link.
The Health Careers Expo is sponsored by West Michigan Works! and the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, Workforce Development.
