Kent ISD Names Dr. Jenny Fee Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Dr. Jenny Fee, former Superintendent of St. Joseph Public Schools, has been named Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services for Kent ISD. Fee succeeds Dr. Ron Gorman who became Kent ISD Superintendent July 1. In addition to her service to St. Joseph Public Schools, Fee previously served as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction for East Grand Rapids Public Schools where she also held positions as Principal, Assistant Principal and Teacher.
“We are honored and excited to have Dr. Fee join our team at Kent ISD,” said Dr. Ron Gorman, Superintendent, Kent ISD. “She brings a wealth of experience to this position and we look forward to expanding opportunities for students and educators under her leadership.”
Fee led St. Joseph Public Schools for three years, including navigating education for the district through the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to serving in top leadership positions in St. Joseph and East Grand Rapids Public Schools, Fee taught math and social studies to middle school students in Michigan, Florida and Colorado. She brings 30 years of experience in education and leading learning to her new position.
