Esports for Parents

Discover the world of esports  at our parent engagement workshops during the event!  Join us for insightful discussions and expert-led sessions designed to empower parents with a better understanding of esports, so you can support the career development of your gaming enthusiast.

Each session will be about 25 minutes long and will be held in the KCTC auditorium. No registration is required.  All parents are welcome to attend.  Parent of a game enthusiast?  Discover what the hype is all about!  You can attend the parent session even if your child is not competing.

• 10 a.m. - Parent Q&A – Get your questions answered from a panel of esports leaders
• 10:30 a.m. - Esports 101 – Industry insights including scholarships, educational paths and career opportunities
• 11 a.m. - A Personal Perspective – Will Wolf’s journey from gamer to AQ Esports Director
• 11:30 a.m. - Women in Esports –   Esports isn’t just for boys! Hear directly from female collegiate gamers about their experiences and learn ways to support girls in this burgeoning industry.
